Purchasing Manager (Apparel & Footwear)

Our Client is a prominent EU Footwear Manufacturer based in Vietnam.

The aim of this position is to provide continuous operational support to the Factory and SC in execution of our operations in Vietnam and other countries.
Procurement Manager/Purchasing Manager will be a part of the Global Purchasing team specialising in sourcing of materials and services, responsible for securing supply for our Vietnam operations.
This role reports to the Global Procurement Director-EU
Location: Dong Nai
Salary: 2000- 2500 USD Gross (Nego)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Execution of sourcing operations, securing supply for manufacturing operations in Vietnam.
Market screening for service providers and suppliers required for operation of the site.
Supplier performance management, quality management, supplier onboarding and compliance review, response to audits and change management.
Selection of service providers required for manufacturing and preparation of contracting phase, production, and verification of documents.
Regular contact with suppliers, inspection and evaluation of suppliers and service providers.
Data collection, analysis and production of documents, spreadsheets and presentations.
Demand planning and coordination with logistics and warehousing.
Manage delivery reliability for oversea shipments, sea freight and air freight.
Lead Import activities, customs clearance process in Vietnam, local transport.
Receipt of goods and machines in accordance with the established procedure.
Market screening for goods and services and further validation and negotiations.
Regular updates and reporting on purchasing activities.
Benchmarking of offered goods, products and services.
Any other Business – mainly project related activities.

JOB REQUIREMENT

At least 5 years’ experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, import -export operations, finance, accounting, including the development of buying strategies, or equivalent.
A good knowledge of Footwear or finishing processes and experience in the footwear highly valued.
Good English skills allowing written communication – emails, documents.
Very good computer skills, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
Self-starter, hands-on and can do attitude, problem solver.
Strong organizational and time management skills, serving with a sense of urgency.
Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

Senior Equity Analyst

Responsibilities

Identify, conduct in-depth research and due diligence and monitor public investment opportunities in Southeast Asia and South-Asia, focusing on Vietnam
Provide CEO with timely and quality political, economic, market and industry information relevant to making investment decisions.
Monitor and provide regular updates to CEO on investment portfolio.
Act as point of contact with sell side analysts and relevant third parties.
Analyse and evaluate special investment opportunities as and when required.

Qualification

University degree holder or above in Accounting / Finance / Economic / Computer science/ / Mathematics
A minimum of 5-7 years of equity research / investment advisory / management consulting experience covering Vietnam markets.
Impeccable analytical skill; a deep understanding and application of valuation methodologies, financial-modelling, and economic theories a minimum
Excellent in both written and spoken English.
Able to communicate ideas and findings clearly, logically, and succinctly.
Able to work with others with an open mind and cohesiveness.

M&A Analyst

The prospective candidate will provide project management and execution support on complex transactions and prepare presentation materials to communicate key messages to clients and counterparts. Specific duties will include assistance in the preparation of financial models, valuation analysis, marketing documentation and research Vietnam market.

Responsibilities

Work with clients and participate in the execution of cross-border M&A transactions
Provide support to senior investment banking professionals to develop marketing leads and ideas to generate new business
Define and prepare financial and technical analysis for various M&A engagements covering both public and private companies, including buyside, sellside, corporate carve-outs, and cross-border M&A situations
Assist senior bankers in process management.
Support negotiations and preparation of key transaction documents including confidentiality agreements, merger agreements, sale leaseback agreements, asset purchase agreements, other ancillary documents, and deal marketing materials
Conduct due diligence and assess sellers’ and targets’ business plans, growth prospects and financial performance
Perform valuation analysis and apply diverse methodologies, including comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged buyout analysis, and discounted cash flow analysis
Attend and participate collaboratively in meetings with clients’ senior team members
Fulfil a wide variety of other tasks to support the diverse activities of M&A advisory

Requirements

Strong finance and accounting skills
Experience working on deals through the entire execution phase.

Responsibility:

Work closely on the pipeline of startups from Company innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives and identify startups with strong potential for success and provide support to nurture and grow them.
Seek promising startups and bring them into the startup ecosystem.

Responsibility:

Conduct research and analysis on both public and private companies

Sales Engineer (N2, Construction Steel)

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing customer requests for quotations, processing steel structures, and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

Receive requests for quotation for processing steel structures from Japan customers in Vietnam.
Work with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to receive quotes to calculate processing costs.
Work with forwarders to calculate shipping costs and ensure timely delivery.
Summarize and send quotes to customers, track and update production and delivery progress.
