Our Client is A creator of professional audiovisual solutions from a widespread list of suppliers

Remote working from Monday to Friday in Vietnam

Report to Manager in USA

Responsibilities

  • Conduct supplier pre-ship reviews, quality audits, source inspections, and hardware acceptance procedures.
  • Assist in the qualification process for new suppliers, modifications to existing parts, and introduction of new parts.
  • Utilize calibrated equipment, drawings, specifications (mechanical, electrical, cosmetic), and controlled comparison samples to inspect materials.
  • Operate various measuring devices such as calipers, gauges, and other testing inspection equipment.
  • Participate in the handling of nonconforming materials and support investigation efforts, including inspection, containment, and root cause analysis activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following combination of experience, knowledge, and skills:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in an electronic manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of quickly learning new processes with minimal guidance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
  • Ability to discern colors and proficient use of inspection tools including calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and optical inspection equipment.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Capable of following written or verbal instructions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with diverse teams and handle challenging situations using appropriate methods.
  • Preferred training and experience with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.

Vision Requirements:

  • Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
  • Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors).
  • Ability to adjust focus (adjust eyes to bring an object into sharp focus).

Work Environment:

  • Combination of office and manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Must be capable with assistance.
  • Willing to travel
