Job Purpose:
The Brand Commercial Manager is responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies for the premium wood flooring brand, aiming to drive revenue growth, expand market coverage, enhance brand visibility, and maximize sales performance through key distribution channels such as dealers, showrooms, architects, and real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Commercial Strategy & Market Penetration:
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for the premium wood flooring brand, tailored to different customer segments: contractors, architects, developers, and dealers.
- Design trade and sales support programs to boost performance across channels (incentive schemes, display support, promotional activities).
2. Retail & Dealer Execution:
- Oversee the implementation of brand activities at dealer showrooms and POS to ensure consistent brand image and optimal visibility.
- Monitor performance at retail and dealer locations (sales, conversion rate, display effectiveness) and provide solutions to improve results.
3. Channel Development & Market Expansion:
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and propose plans to expand dealer networks and new POS locations.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to strengthen relationships with key distributors and strategic channel partners.
4. Trade Marketing & Promotional Campaigns:
- Plan and manage seasonal campaigns, sales promotions, and regional marketing activities to drive sell-out.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and propose adjustments based on market dynamics and consumer behavior in the interior/flooring sector.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration & Budget Management:
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Creative, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth execution of all commercial initiatives.
- Manage the commercial budget for the brand, track spending, and optimize ROI on trade marketing investments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in brand/trade marketing or commercial management in building materials, interior products, or premium consumer goods.
- Strong understanding of B2B2C distribution models; prior experience working with dealers, showrooms, architects, or real estate developers is a strong plus.
- Strong commercial acumen and market sensitivity.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English for communication and reporting.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
