Dyeing/Fabric Technical

Our Client is a leading textile manufacturing group with an international production network and strong capabilities across the textile value chain, including yarn, fabric, dyeing, and garment production

• Location: On-site at Bảo Minh Industrial Park, Nam Định Province, Vietnam.
• Organization Scope: 500–1,000 employees per factory across key departments including Production, Planning, and factory operations.
• Reporting Line: Report directly to the Head of Fabric Business Line
• Probation: 6 months.
• Working Schedule: 6 days/week | 08:00–12:00 & 13:30–17:30.
• Salary: 2.000 - 3.500 USD/month

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the formulation and optimization of fabric dyeing processes, covering formula design, dye selection, and setting parameters for temperature, time, and auxiliary ratios, adapting to different fibers like cotton, polyester, and blends.
• Establish a dyeing process standard library (SOP), guide the workshop in strictly executing process parameters, and ensure color differences within the same or different batches remain within standard limits.
• Solve technical dyeing issues in production (e.g., uneven dyeing, color deviation, poor colorfastness, color staining), analyze root causes, and develop corrective and preventive measures.
• Align with production schedules to provide technical briefings based on order characteristics and color requirements, and assist production teams in calibrating equipment (dye vats, stenters, etc.).
• Track the progress of the dyeing process, balance technical requirements with production efficiency, and reduce rework rates and fabric waste.
• Participate in the sampling of new products and patterns, optimize the sampling process, shorten the sampling cycle, and meet customer demands.
• Optimize the usage of dyes and auxiliaries to reduce material consumption without compromising the dyeing effect; evaluate the applicability of new dyes and auxiliaries to drive cost reduction and efficiency.
• Monitor energy consumption (water, electricity, steam) in the dyeing process and propose technical solutions for energy conservation.
• Responsible for the technical training of the dyeing team to improve operators' and technicians' process execution and problem-solving abilities.
• Participate in establishing quality inspection standards for the dyeing process, assist the QC department with finished product inspections, and follow up on customer complaints regarding dyeing issues.
• Ensure the dyeing process complies with environmental regulations (e.g., heavy metal limits, wastewater discharge indicators) and meets domestic and international eco-standards (e.g., OEKO-TEX 100).
• Monitor new industry dyeing technologies and processes (e.g., low-temperature dyeing, salt-free dyeing) and promote their adoption.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor/Master's degree or above.
• 0-3 years of work experience.
• Hardworking and willing to be based overseas.
• Possesses solid professional knowledge and conversational spoken English skills.
• Vietnamese nationals are preferred 
• Age under 40.
