About the Role

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior FP&A professional to join an international business environment and support financial planning, business analysis, and finance operations across a portfolio of global entities.

This position works closely with finance leadership and regional stakeholders to strengthen financial visibility, improve reporting quality, support commercial decision-making, and enhance operational efficiency across multiple markets.

The role is designed as an individual contributor position with extensive regional exposure and strong involvement in business performance management.


Key Accountabilities

Financial Planning & Performance Management

  • Contribute to annual budget preparation, periodic forecasting, and rolling financial planning cycles.
  • Produce monthly management reporting packages, including performance commentary and variance analysis.
  • Build and maintain financial models, KPI tracking mechanisms, and cash flow projections.
  • Support consolidation and reporting activities across multiple business entities.
  • Deliver meaningful financial analysis and recommendations to facilitate business decisions.
  • Participate in scenario planning and ad hoc financial assessments.

Business Finance Partnership

  • Collaborate with portfolio businesses in developing budgets, operational plans, and forecasts.
  • Track financial and operational performance against agreed targets.
  • Provide analytical support to management teams through financial modelling and business reviews.
  • Drive consistency in reporting standards, planning methodology, and forecasting processes.
  • Act as finance support for entities with limited internal FP&A resources.

Strategic Finance Support

  • Prepare performance reports and operational insights for leadership review.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and periodic business evaluations.
  • Assist in preparing board-level reporting materials and investor-related analysis.
  • Participate in strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives as required.

Finance Operations & Process Excellence

  • Coordinate month-end reporting timelines across multiple markets.
  • Support finance system enhancements and reporting process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain finance documentation, procedures, and operating guidelines.
  • Assist with finance administration activities including payments and expense coordination.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve finance effectiveness and workflow efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

Education & Professional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, ACA, CA, or equivalent is preferred.

Experience

  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Management Reporting, or Financial Accounting.
  • Previous exposure to multinational, regional, group, or multi-entity environments.
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and performance reporting.
  • Familiarity with finance operations and month-end reporting cycles.
  • Experience in holding structures, professional services, technology, or international business environments will be considered advantageous.

Technical Capabilities

  • Strong understanding of IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP is an advantage.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
  • Experience working with accounting platforms; exposure to Xero is preferred.
