Invest Talent JSC is supporting our Client, a leading pesticide enterprise in China, focusing on the R&D and production of environmental-friendly pesticides, with significant advantages especially in the field of nematode control in hiring a Vietnamese Commercial Director who will in charge of the Vietnamese market, responsible for the formulation and implementation of market strategies, and fully in charge of the business development and partial sales management of the Vietnamese market

Core products: 

  • Insecticides: Kill both eggs and insects, with multiple effects such as contact killing, stomach poisoning and systemic absorption, and long persistence period.
  • Fungicides: Adopt technical materials authorized by foreign enterprises, double block the metabolism of pathogens, rainfast, and provide long-term disease resistance.
  • Herbicides: Scientifically mix ingredients with different mechanisms, with both closed and killing effects, expand the herbicidal spectrum and extend the weed control period.
  • Nematicides: Efficiently inhibit root-knot nematodes, promote root growth, enhance crop nutrient absorption and increase yield. 
  • Plant Growth Regulators: Precisely regulate the growth rhythm of crops, enhance photosynthesis and improve stress resistance.
  •  Sanitary Insecticides: Including trapping, rodenticide and insecticide products, strongly reduce the source of pests and diseases. 

Job Description: 

  1. Market Insight and Strategic Planning 
  • In-depth regional agrochemical market research: Analyze local agricultural planting structure, competitive landscape, policies and regulations, as well as farmers' pain points.
  • Product selection: Select products from the company's product portfolio, track product registration progress, and enrich the local product line.
  • Formulate regional market strategies: Align with the company's product matrix, conduct efficacy verification, plan promotion programs, and formulate channel layout, pricing strategies and promotional activities.
  1. Customer Development and System Construction
  • Key customer relationship management: Develop and maintain high-quality regional customers, formulate customer visit plans, and promote strategic cooperation.
  • Local brand implementation: Design brand activities in line with regional culture, and coordinate with the headquarters and local team to complete localized product packaging design.
  1. Product Promotion and Technical Support
  • Technical marketing execution: Develop differentiated product solutions for regional characteristic crops, organize field demonstration meetings and dealer technical training.
  • Data-driven market management: Monitor key indicators such as regional sales volume and market share, regularly feed back product improvement suggestions to the headquarters to drive iterative upgrading. 

    4. Team Collaboration and Resource Integration

  • Cross-departmental coordination: Liaise with the headquarters' marketing department, supply chain department, legal department and other departments to ensure rapid response to regional market demands; guide the regional sales/customer service team to implement market strategies and provide training on competitor analysis, negotiation skills and other aspects.
  • Risk management: Track regional policy changes, actively formulate response plans, and reduce market access risks.

Job requirements

  1. Core Professional Competencies
  • Industry experience: More than 5 years of agrochemical market experience, familiar with the market operation of different pesticide categories; with regional market management experience in multinational companies or wellknown local enterprises.
  • Product knowledge: Profound knowledge of pesticide technical principles, registration processes and on-site application technologies; understanding of the product portfolios of world-leading agrochemical companies.
  • Market skills: With complete experience in market research, brand planning and marketing activity execution; proficient in data visualization analysis and familiar with commonly used tools in the agrochemical industry.

2. Core Competencies and Traits

  • Regional adaptability: Willing to travel across various regions in Vietnam; able to quickly understand the agricultural ecosystem of different markets.
  • Result-oriented: With successful experience in developing new markets; good at breaking market barriers through resource integration.
  • Compliance awareness: Familiar with the pesticide management regulations of the target market; able to lead or support the development of localized compliance systems.

3. Basic Requirements

  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree or above, major in Agronomy, Plant Protection, Marketing or related fields is preferred; a master's degree or overseas study background (in the agricultural field) may relax the work experience requirements.
  • Language skills: Fluent in English (listening, speaking, reading and writing), with English as a working language; proficiency in Chinese is a bonus.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary Structure: Monthly salary of USD 2,000 - 3,500, with upward adjustment for outstanding candidates (pure fixed salary in the early stage; performance commission will be added after the stabilization of sales volume in the Vietnamese market).
  • Social Insurance: Contributed in accordance with local standards.
  • Business Trip Allowance: Reimbursed on an actual cost basis.
