Responsibilities: 

  • Order Management: Oversees customer purchase orders (POs) at independent manufacturing facilities.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Possesses a strong understanding of capacity planning, strategic planning, logistics, and freight forwarding.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Develops and implements comprehensive supply chain strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works closely with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams.
  • Performance Measurement: Defines and monitors key supply chain performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manufacturer Liaison: Effectively communicates and collaborates with independent manufacturers and their production planning and inventory control (PPIC) departments.

Furniture Production Manager (Expat)

Invest Talent JSC is assisting our client, an international exporter of furniture, in hiring a proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced Production Manager to join & lead them to greater operational success.

Working location: Central of Vietnam 

Responsibilities: 

  • Production Oversight: Manage and monitor production schedules, ensuring timely execution and efficient resource utilization. 
  • Quality Control Leadership: Champion the company’s quality standards, implementing and enforcing robust quality control processes throughout the production cycle. Lead and motivate the QC team to achieve quality targets.
  • Factory Supervision & Audits: Regularly travel to factories to supervise QC staff and managers, conduct final product audits, and ensure compliance with quality requirements. Address any quality, technical, or packing issues directly with planners and factory owners.
  • Team Development: Build and maintain a high-performing QC team through effective recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management.
  • Problem Solving & Collaboration: Proactively identify and resolve production and quality issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders (planners, factory owners, internal teams) to implement effective solutions.
  • Performance Monitoring & Improvement: . Analyze data to areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.’
  • Communication & Reporting: Maintain clear and effective communication with all relevant parties. Provide regular updates to the COO on production progress, quality performance, and any challenges encountered.
  • Other Duties: Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the COO.

Qualification: 

  • 03 – 05 years of experience in a furniture production management position
  • Ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to manufacturing facilities
  • Strong knowledge of furniture materials, including hardwood and laminates.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Works/AutoCAD (or similar design software).
  • Solid strategic and financial understanding of business operations.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance to education counsellors to complete administrative work related to study application and visa application.
  • Provide high quality customer service to international students and identify solutions to fit their needs.
  • Provide high quality telephone and email services.
  • Assist education counsellors to generate sales conversions with potential new and current students.
