General Accountant

We are looking for a dynamic candidate who is responsible for timely and accurate processing of transactions; providing the Finance manager and CEO with monthly management reports of the Vietnam entity and yearly financial reports (VAS and IFRS) and annual audits. Responsibilities: 

Vietnam Financial reports preparation

  • Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reporting on the financial accounts under requirements of VAS and
    IFRS.
  • Conducting monthly management reports as per requirement.
  • Recording transactions in the FAST accounting system and maintaining a timely and accurate
    database.
  • Coordinating financial audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Preparing and submitting Tax declaration (VAT, CIT) and VAT return process.

Other accounting related tasks

  • Review AP Payment supporting documents, especially payment with multiple installments for
    Vietnam and other countries in the T&S Group.
  • Coordinating with the project manager team to arrange timely payment.
  • Monitor payment schedule and supplier due date.
  • Prepare and update monthly cash reports.
  • Performs ad hoc tasks for CEO and Finance manager as required.

Requirement: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance is required
  • CPA/CFA is a plus
  • Fluent in English.
  • 3-5 years experience in accounting, audit, transaction advisory, corporate finance. Both Big4 and in house experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in Accounting books and Finance Reports Audit preparation.
  • Good understanding in VAS, IFRS, Tax system in Vietnam.
  • Excellent command of the FAST system.
  • Exude a can-do attitude and possess a strong dedication to providing quality service to management.

Responsibilities

Accounting Support:

  • Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording daily transactions.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in the freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
