Purchasing Manager_Agriculture Trading

Our client is foreign company, operates within the grain trading industry, specialising in the sale of niche and oilseed crops. With a focus on products such as flax, peas, mung beans, chickpeas, meal, and more… To expand into the Vietnamese market, we aim to leverage our expertise in grain trading and focus on the unique agricultural needs of Vietnam.

Responsibilities:

Implement procurement plans.
Conduct market analysis, monitor prices, and select optimal offers.
Search for new suppliers.
Negotiate and conclude contracts on favorable terms, including visits to product manufacturers in relevant regions.
Calculate product costs based on CPT (port of departure) delivery terms.
Monitor the effectiveness and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
Evaluate suppliers on key and auxiliary factors.
Conclude contracts with suppliers, and agree on terms and conditions of deliveries and payments.
Maintain proper documentation for procurement activities, including shipping documents.
Achieve procurement targets.
Develop and maintain an up-to-date supplier base.
Maintain operational records within the framework of current activities.

Temporary Responsibilities (Before the Appointment of Specific Roles):

Search for contractors, conduct commercial negotiations with transport companies, logistics service providers, and brokerage companies, and conclude contracts.
Calculate the cost of goods on FOB/CIF terms.
Oversee current control of foreign economic activities.
Manage and optimize logistics costs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degrees
Proficiency in English (required), Russian (preferred).
Advanced MS Office user.
Experience in procurement of various export items from Vietnam, including coffee, rice, cashews, and shrimp.
Comprehensive understanding of the necessary documents and certificates required for exporting food products to the Russian Federation and European countries.
Proficient in the nuances of cost and sales price formation for the specified products.
Ability to quickly calculate export prices on different bases, including CPT, FOB, CIF (CFR), and DAP (DDP).
Knowledgeable in the nuances of maritime and road transport logistics.

Reporting Structure:

Direct Report to CEO (Russian) initially
Later Report to Head of Export

Location: Ho Chi Minh City (HCM)

Working Hours: 5 days a week, 48 hours a week

Salary Package: 2000-2500 USD/month

Allowances: Mobile, Fuel , Food around 1.5 million VND/month

Head of Import Sales_Animal Feed & Agriculture Trading

Our client is a foreign company operating in the grain trading industry, specialising in Animal feed and Agricultural products. They focus on products such as sunflower meal (particularly in non-pellet form), flax, peas, chickpeas, and more. They are expanding their imports into the Vietnam market.

Responsibilities

Department Creation: Establish and develop a department focused on the sale of Animal feed and Agricultural products.
Market Entry Strategy: Develop, plan, organize, and oversee the execution of campaigns aimed at entering the national market for products such as sunflower meal (particularly in non-pellet form), flax, peas, chickpeas, and more….
Sales Management: Manage the sales process ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
New Customer Acquisition: Search for and attract new B2B, B2B2C buyers
Customer Base Management: Maintain and work with the existing customer base to foster long-term relationships.
Negotiations and Sales Implementation: Conduct negotiations and manage the import sales process into Vietnam
Contract Management: Conclude contracts, agree on prices, and monitor and coordinate the entire contractual process until delivery to the final buyer.
Sales Planning: Plan sales activities to ensure the achievement of planned indicators.
Complaint Management: Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.
Price Modelling: Develop and implement pricing models for contracts.
Payment Control: Oversee payments and manage receivables.
Market Risk Analysis: Monitor and analyse market risks, calculate their impact, and provide recommendations on managing risks in the national market.
Operational Records Management: Organise and maintain operational records within the assigned area.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degrees
Native Vietnam Speaker and English Proficiency
At least 3 years of experience in sales of Animal feed or Agricultural products
Experience running a sales department
Full package of necessary documents/certificates for import
Knowledge of import sales specifics for various crops
Ideally, experience participating in a startup
Optional: Base of potential buyers in the national B2B market
