Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations and maintenance of project
  • Apply hands-on mechanical and/or electrical skills for equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Ensure proficiency in operating and maintaining various treatment plant equipment.
  • Expertly handle electrical cabinets, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary modifications.
  • Conduct instrument calibration and troubleshoot instrumentation problems.
  • Maintain effective communication within the team and with authorities.
  • Prioritize and uphold safety knowledge and practices in plant operations.
  • Independently manage day-to-day operations efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage documentation related to plant operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, BA, or relevant field.
  • 7 years’ experience in operation of water, wastewater treatment plant
  • Hand on skill in mechanical and/or electrical work
  • Familiar with operation and maintenance of equipment
  • Familiar with electrical cabinet and hand on skill on troubleshooting and modification.
  • Emphasis on safety knowledge and practices within a plant setting.
  • Familiar with instrument calibration and troubleshooting
  • Prefer English speaking but not compulsory
  • Able to liaise with authorities
  • Effective communication skills for team collaboration and interactions with authorities.

Assistant Project Manager (Water & Wastewater)

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee safety measures and maintain quality control standards at the project site.
  • Efficiently manage project scheduling, including programming, implementation, review, monitoring, and overall project timeline adherence.
  • Lead technical discussions on-site and report to Project Manager
  • Manage contract-related tasks, including tendering processes and adherence to FIDIC standards.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of comprehensive tender Documents to support successful project bids.
  • Coordinate various project activities, proactively address potential risks, and assist in risk management efforts.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare reports as necessary for effective project oversight.
  • Carry out additional duties and functions as directed by the Director to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering or relevance
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar field, demonstrating a strong track record in project management.
  • A background in Engineering is preferred to understand and contribute to the technical aspects of the project.
  • Familiarity with project management principles, particularly in the fields of Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste, and Waste-to-Energy projects.
  • Possession of a valid car driving license is required for travel and site visits.
