Summary: Operations Project Manager will take a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of Business and Projects investment in Vietnam. The role encompasses overseeing operational activities, managing project timelines, ensuring quality control, and establishing strong connections with government authorities to facilitate project investments and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to ensure effective project and operational execution, adherence to timelines, and delivery of high-quality projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to optimize resource allocation, monitor project progress, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products, services, and operational processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate project approvals and investment initiatives.
• Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes, policies, and compliance requirements to ensure the company’s operations align with local laws secure project approvals and incentives.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, finance, legal, and marketing to ensure alignment of operational activities with overall business goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
• Responsible for plant operational activities and issues, and timely resolve of matters with authorities
• Be part of business development activities in investment projects, product trading and project tender and bids. Contribute leads and held talks with business partners.
• Lead project company (Special Project Vehicle) to achieve financial and operational targets set by top management and stakeholders
• Any other instructions and work assigned by Chairman and Local Director

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A proven track record of more than 10 years in operational project management, preferably within Water Solutions, EPC, or Investment Companies.
• Solid project management experience and a comprehensive understanding of water and wastewater treatment solutions.
• A profound grasp of government relations, regulatory processes, and investment procedures within Vietnam.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, which are crucial for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in English/Chinese and Vietnamese languages.
• Location: Based in D1, HCM and willing to travel.
• Availability: Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to the Project Director
• Assist in coordinating and overseeing project activities
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
• Collaborate with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, and presentations for the Project Director and Partners.
• Manage and maintain the Project Director’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Handle correspondence and communication on behalf of the Project Director as required.
• Assist in preparing and delivering presentations to clients, investors, and other key stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Chinese/English or a related field.
• Proven experience (2 years) in a project support or assistant role, preferably in an investment or construction industry.
• Proficiency in both Chinese and English languages, with translation and interpretation skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of industrial water systems or related technologies is advantageous.

WORKING LOCATION: District 1 from Monday to Friday
