Job Summary:
The Vietnam Country Director will lead and manage the overall operations of the renewable energy division in Vietnam. This role involves strategic planning, business development, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The Country Director will be responsible for driving growth, maintaining high standards of service delivery, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Oversee the financial performance of the country operations, ensuring profitability and sustainability.
- Lead the development of new business opportunities and partnerships.
Operational Management:
- Ensure efficient and effective management of all operational aspects, including project development, finance, HR, and administration.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the country office, implementing improvements as needed.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and industry partners.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure continuous professional development of staff
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with the country operations.
- Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry in Vietnam.
- Proven track record of strategic planning and business development.
