Be responsible for prospecting new customers and the retaining new customers in his or her assigned market territory. The SE goes to customers instead of waiting for customers to come to him or her. Uses independent judgement and exercises discretion in executing his or her duties. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality in all aspects of its nature.
The primary target customers are hotels, restaurants, coffee shops, supermarkets, and other similar hospitality providers.
Responsibilities
- Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone cold calls, face-to- face cold calls with business owners or managers throughout Hanoi area.
- Source at least 3 potential customers per working day, meet them to introduce our Company products, enter their information to the databased, develop relationships with these potential customers, and try to convert them to be our customers.
- Receive requests/inquiries from customers and provides information and price quotations by email, phone or visit.
- Answer all customer’s questions and resolve issues.
- Provide effective presentation to customers by demonstrating good product knowledge and technical selling skills.
- Secure orders from customers and upsell.
- Process sales orders and coordinates with other departments until order is delivered and customer is satisfied.

- Regularly meet sales quotas and make conscious efforts to exceed sales quotas.
- Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions to upsell to current customers and promote to new potential customers.
- Build a good relationship with customers to increase the referral channel, renew the contract and upsell.
- Look for quality sales channels to increase sales.
- Regularly self-research about the bakery market and update new trends to update and propose to superiors in product improvement.
- Submit weekly, monthly report relating to customer activities such as quotations, phone calls, visits, orders, and problems.
- Attend events, workshops, exhibitions, etc. to increase your network of connections with potential customers.
- Other tasks as assigned by Line Manager from time to time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/Associates degree in Business or related field preferred
- Have at least 2 years of experience in sales
- Ability and desire to sell
- Good at communication
- A positive, confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
- The capability to flourish in a competitive environment
- A good level of numeracy
