Product Owner (Lending)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Lead to define product road map, business requirements, product USP and CVP for full-cycle ownership of products from design to release and maintain
  • Execute the business strategy, product strategy, and value propositions of the products and services
  • Collaborate with Domain architecture & Solution Architect team to understand the ecosystems, lending end-to-end orchestration and functional diagrams, for example Loan origination system, loan management system, core banking system, decisioning engine, underwriting, and back-office systems
  • Participate in business meetings with stakeholders (led by Product lead) to brainstorm and align on product processes
  • Establish the user stories, acceptance criteria, process diagrams, workflows and manage the backlog of the products, including loan origination journey, loan repayment journey, underwriting and decisioning
  • Attend the scrum meetings and proactively owner the product requirements and delivery expectations in all scrum meetings
  • Explain the essentials of product features and requirements to ensure that engineering understands the value of our offerings, user stories and product back logs
  • Take full responsibility for specific releases of the products and services, ensure that they fulfill customers’ needs and are delivered in financial grade quality
  • Research and alignment of specifications for new features, as well as enhancement of existing ones
  • Bench-marking of own product portfolio against competitive products and industry standards
  • Conceptual design, research, and specification of entirely new features and functions
  • Define product and service requirements aligned to the road map
  • Keep up to date with the fin-tech industry trends to allow for a state-of-the-art product and feature design
  • Identify and evaluate new product features
  • Conduct feasibility studies and development estimates
  • Establish the functional and end to end test cases
  • Develop analytical tools and KPIs covering and monitoring product and feature performance.

Qualification and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking sector
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with cash loan products in banks and consumer finance, with a good understanding of the cash loan regulations and market practices
  • Experience in digital lending is a strong advantage
  • Experience with Loan origination and loan management system processing, account processing (core banking)
  • Understand cash loan execution process
  • A natural digital junkie who keeps abreast of the latest digital trends
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguous situations
  • Ability to manage complex projects with a diverse range of stakeholders including Domain architect, Solution architect, Engineering, Operations, Data, Risk
  • Strong sense of business objectives
  • Ability to think in a customer-centric approach while equally being able to pivot around new ideas in an agile way-of-working.
  • Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to influence, coach and train others
  • Ability to anticipate, act proactively, and work both autonomously and as a team player. Includes ability to work with multiple stakeholders and build relationships across multiple departments

Senior Business Analyst (Digital Bank)

You will be responsible for creating unique customer experiences by liaising with Product, Operation, Marketing, User Experience and Technology teams. You will work in a highly agile environment, leading multiple projects in parallel.

Responsibilities

  • Approach all projects with customers centric mindset
  • Organize workshops and interviews with users, subject matter experts and understand business requirements
  • Define scope based on goals and objectives. Work on the initial high-level requirements across functions
  • Collaborate with business, UX and tech sponsors to define project scope and vision and identify constraints, dependencies, assumptions, risks and issues
  • Create a business requirement document and functional specification document
  • Lead meetings with SMEs and key stakeholders to create product roadmap and user stories
  • Work closely with UX and UI lead to ensure the journeys and designs are aligned with the product roadmap and user stories
  • Closely work with head of operation to understand the backend processes and align them with the front-end user flows
  • Work closely with the Business Lead to ensure that solution is designed to create an amazing customer experience
  • Work with the Technology team to deliver prototypes and evaluate with business users and align expectations
  • Participate in product/spec discussions and workshops with all key technology vendors, Core, CMS, Onboarding, AML, Fraud, LOS, Decisioning etc.
  • Participate and lead (with business team) user acceptance test and identify gaps and opportunities
  • Lead and work with the testing team on test plans, test scenarios and test cases
  • Define and execute project change management and training activities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help priorities business requirements in the development cycle
  • Document learnings and change management processes

Qualification and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business or finance
  • Minimum 8 years in retail banking or fintech. Good techno-functional skills.
  • Experience in end-to-end project delivery from writing user requirements, UAT and change management initiatives
  • Deep knowledge and experience with core banking platforms (Card, Lending, Onboarding, AML, Fraud Management…)
  • Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurship spirit, a can-do attitude
  • Strong working knowledge of project methodology and delivering high quality project artefacts and Agile, iterative development process, such as Scrum
  • Knowledge of tools like Lucid Chart, Jira, Figma etc
  • Experience in writing use cases, workflows, business processes, business requirements document, functional specifications document and user requirements to functional design
  • Understanding of digital experience, platforms, and underlying technologies
  • Excellent communication skills in English
