We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our aluminium trading operations in Vietnam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our customer base, managing orders, and developing strategic partnerships within the local market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and Grow Customer Base: Oversee existing client relationships and follow up on orders while collaborating with domestic departments.

• Market Expansion: Develop the local aluminium-related business, identify new business opportunities, and collect market intelligence.

• Customer Engagement: Conduct client visits and negotiations, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.

• Feedback and Reporting: Provide timely feedback on market conditions and customer needs to inform business strategies.

• Local Market Assistance: Support local market activities in accordance with departmental objectives and requirements.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, or a related field. A major in Chinese is preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in international trade or the aluminium industry.

• Vietnamese nationality

• Proficiency in English or Chinese

• Highly responsible, proactive, and willing to take initiative.

• Strong service orientation and excellent communication skills.

Salary package: 1000 – 2000 USD + commission + perfomance bonus

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Analyze the domestic market for niche, grain, and oilseed crops to identify new partners and target opportunities.
  • New Customer Acquisition: Search for and attract new buyers in both B2B and B2B2C channels, including wholesalers, distributors, retail chains, marketplaces, and restaurants.
  • Customer Base Management: Maintain and work with the existing customer base to foster long-term relationships.
  • Sales Negotiation and Implementation: Negotiate, organize, and implement the import sales process for niche and oilseed crops and their derivative products, from large ship shipments to smaller wholesale deals.
  • Contract Management: Conclude contracts, negotiate prices, and monitor and coordinate the entire contractual process until the delivery of goods to the final buyer.
  • Sales Planning: Plan sales activities to ensure the achievement of planned targets.
  • Cost Calculation: Calculate product costs, taking into account transportation logistics from port to the buyer’s warehouse.
  • Complaint Management: Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively.
  • Pricing Model Construction: Develop and implement pricing models based on transactions.
  • Payment Control: Oversee payments and manage receivables.
  • Market Risk Monitoring: Monitor and analyze market risks, calculate their impact, and generate recommendations on risk management in the national market.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement procurement plans.
  • Conduct market analysis, monitor prices, and select optimal offers.
  • Search for new suppliers.
  • Negotiate and conclude contracts on favorable terms, including visits to product manufacturers in relevant regions.
  • Calculate product costs based on CPT (port of departure) delivery terms.
  • Monitor the effectiveness and fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Evaluate suppliers on key and auxiliary factors.
  • Conclude contracts with suppliers, and agree on terms and conditions of deliveries and payments.
  • Maintain proper documentation for procurement activities, including shipping documents.

Requirements:

  • Department Creation: Establish and develop a department focused on the sale of Animal feed and Agricultural products.
