Function: Business Development

I-Talent’ Client is a Investor and Provider water & waste water treatment solutions (FDI 100%).

You will be involved in the market research, project development and investment in the water and waste water treatment solutions sectors in Vietnam

Responsibilities:

  • Manage Due Diligence studies on investment project (Technical, Financial, Legal)
  • Be a proactive deal-sourcer: identify and assess potential investment opportunities spanning a wide range of industries with a focus on Real Estate
  • Apply in-depth market research to evaluate investment opportunities and assess underwriting assumptions of FS model
  • Ensure the deals that are sourced and analysed align with the strategic direction of the firm
  • Manage key stakeholder relationships with internal and external parties
  • Effectively interact with government officials and industry leaders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering, BA or relevance
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Preferably have an Engineering background.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Project Management.
  • Familiarity with Water, Wastewater, Solid Waste, and Waste to Energy projects.
  • Open to candidates with an operation and/or project background.
  • Enthusiastic participation in sales and marketing activities.

Senior Financial Accountant 

Company: A provider water and waste water treatment solutions, and vacuum systems (FDI 100%)

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Conduct internal audits to evaluate financial processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
  • Oversee tax payments, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor and report accounting inconsistencies and irregularities.
  • Stay current with financial policies, practices, and regulations, both locally and internationally.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal tax regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Good in English
  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, with a strong background in audit and outsourcing.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Additional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a bonus.
  • Working time: Monday to Friday in Dist 1

Job Purpose

Responsibility

  • To collect market information, business migration, brands movement, etc. and be able to
    provide the market in term of insights or anything related to brands movement and brands
    sentiments.

Our Client is a Freight Forwarding & Global Logistics Company (100% FDI ), They are planning to expand their business and will set up an office in Ho Chi Minh City in early 2024.

They are looking for Branch Manager who is a key leadership role responsible for fostering strong customer and develop vendor relationships and ensuring operational excellence and finance management within the organisation’s freight forwarding business in Vietnam.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Profit and Loss Management:

  • Take full responsibility for the overall Profit and Loss (P&L) performance of the branch.
  • Develop and present annual budgets to the management, with a focus on year-on-year growth and expansion.

Financial Accountability:

  • Oversee the financial aspects of the branch’s operations.

Operational Excellence:

  • Efficiently manage and control the day-to-day operational activities of the branch.
  • Supervise general freight forwarding and consolidation operations within the branch.

Team Development:

  • Provide clear operational direction and leadership to the staff.

Customer Relationship Management:

Vendor Relations:

Business Development & Market Expansion:

  • Participate in global Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes and negotiate with liners to secure favourable terms and contracts.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate Profile: Vietnamese only
  • Proficiency in English
  • A graduate in BA, preferably holding an MBA.
  • Possesses a minimum of 10 years of working experience.
  • Must have held managerial positions for a minimum of 5 years in Global Logistic/ Freight forwarding/ Supply Chain companies.
  • Experience in LCL (Less than Container Load) export consolidation, particularly to destinations like India, USA, Europe, and other Asian countries is a big plus
