The Senior Software Developer is responsible for developing new system management solutions and
automation tools, supporting service operations, maintaining the existing toolset, supporting the automation
in the production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software solution architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Requirements

Technical skills:

• Fluency or understanding of C# and .NET Core framework.
• Familiar with front-end frameworks like VueJs, ReactJs, AngularJs (VueJs is our primary front end development language)
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and latest version of ECMAScript.
• Able to write Unit Tests using MSTest.
• Experience working with cloud services, in particular Azure cloud.
• Working experience with Git.
• Exposure in Docker, Kubernetes, microservices will be an added bonus.
• Experience in developing RESTful API.
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
• Experience with working with RDBMS such as SqlServer or MySql.

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently or with a group.

• 3-5 years of experience in software development both front-end and back-end.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with market participants in the RECs ecosystems to document requirements across the digital asset issuance and distribution value chain
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement digital exchange solutions.
• Liaise closely with the developers, QA teams, product owners, and business stakeholders to assist in completing the necessary steps to ensure product development success.
• Perform system analysis and make use of UML diagrams to depict system-level relationships and concepts.
• Work closely with the Operation teams for the day-to-day administration of the digital trading platform.
• Led ongoing reviews of business processes and developed optimization strategies.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Performing user acceptance testing.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

Requirements

• Strong domain knowledge of the process of digital exchange.
• Exposure and familiarity with stock trading processes in a digital exchange, from how stock tickers are designed, how stock prices are presented, and how to buy/sell orders are fulfilled in real-time.
• Good product knowledge across asset classes including equities, FX, and Structured Products.
• Knowledge of derivatives, futures, and options.
• 3 to 5 years of BA working experience, at least 2 years of working experience in a digital stock/crypto exchange, trading/dealing desk.
• Either in a fintech or banking environment.
• Familiar with the payment services act and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
• Have a strong understanding of the day-to-day activities of a trader, and what sort of tools, charts, and information is necessary to allow traders to work effectively.
• Strong written and spoken capability in Mandarin/Chinese
• Has a software development background.
• Experience with the renewable energy domain will be an added advantage.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Comfortable with working in a startup environment.
• Diploma or Degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a relevant field
• Certification in Product Owner, Blockchain technology will be a plus point.
